When positions are available on the training grant, the training faculty are notified. Faculty can nominate a current postdoc or recruit candidates from other institutions (for example, students completing their PhD). Faculty prepare a nomination packet that includes a letter of recommendation and a research statement from the trainee. Top candidates are then selected to interview in person with members of the Training Grant Steering Committee. These may be coordinated with a UCI campus visit by external candidates.
Update 8/3/15: There are currently 4 open postdoctoral slots. If you are looking for postdoctoral research and training opportunities in Cancer Biology & Therapeutics, please view the research interests on the Faculty page and consider applying to one or more of these laboratories. Mention that you would like to be considered for a position on the CBT T32 training grant. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents.
